Bertha Arsenault

Bertha (Belliveau) Arsenault, 83, of Gardner died peacefully, Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home of Gardner, surrounded by her family.
Born in Bouctouche N.B. Canada on July 19, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Francois and Geneva (Cormier) Belliveau.
Bertha was a Home Health Aid for the former Gardner Visiting Nursing Association (GVNA Healthcare, Inc.), retiring in 1992. She was previously employed by Heywood Hospital as a Nurses Aid.
Bertha was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
She enjoyed creating afghans, and was a devout Catholic who enjoyed watching religious programs on television and faithfully said the rosary.
She was predeceased by her former husband, Francois Arsenault, who died in 2008.
Bertha leaves two sons, Claude Arsenault and his wife Palmyer of Hyannis, MA and Gilles Arsenault and his wife Kathleen of Gardner; two daughters, Jacqueline Arsenault of Gardner and Lisa M. Arsenault of Baton Rouge, LA; one sister, Georgette Leger of Springfield; four grandchildren, Jason Arsenault, David Arsenault, Jeremy Arsenault and Nicole Arsenault; seven great-grandchildren, Trinity, Savanna, Haleigh and Kirstyn Arsenault, Nevaeh and Nyomi Soto, and Asher Arsenault; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 16th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
