Bernadine "Dinny" Amistadi (van Os)

Bernadine "Dinny" (van Os) Amistadi, 87, of 32 Hospital Hill Road, Gardner and formerly of Templeton, died Saturday, October 8, 2011 in UMass Memorial Medical Center, 55 Lake Ave North, Worcester, following a brief illness.
She was born in Erica Drenthe, Holland on October 10, 1923, the daughter of the late Cornelius and Berendina (van Os) van Os.
Bernadine was employed for several years by Queensway Clothing of Athol as a clothing saleswoman, retiring in 1983.
She was a member of Holy Cross Church in E. Templeton.
Bernadine enjoyed gardening, playing cards and dancing. Throughout her life she was an extremely hard worker, and was recognized many times for Sales Excellence.
She was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Enzo Amistadi, who died in 1977.
Bernadine leaves four sons, James P. Amistadi and his wife Candace of Templeton, Gary R. Amistadi and his wife Mary of Templeton, Richard A. Amistadi and his wife Saundra of Templeton and Christopher E. Amistadi and his wife Sarah of Templeton; one daughter, Denice M. Santucci and her husband John of Templeton; thirteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, John Amistadi who died in 2005; and by her siblings, Femme, Karlus, Johannas, Gerardus, Jacobus, Albertus and Adrian.
Funeral Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
