Beatrice M."Bea" Molleur

Beatrice M. "Bea" (Bassett) Molleur, 96, of 125 Connors Street, Gardner and formerly of Baldwinville from 1964 thru 1984, died peacefully Sunday, October 25th in Legend Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner.

Born in Baldwinville on September 23, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rosilda (Gervais) Bassett.

Bea and her husband Alfred were owner-operators of Molleur's Lunch in Wilkinsonville, MA for 25 years. She later was a house mother for the Templeton Youth Center, Templeton.

Bea was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Gardner.

She enjoyed reading, playing cards and cooking.

Bea was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Alfred J. Molleur who died January 3, 1977.

She leaves one brother, Earl D. Bassett and his wife Muriel of Berlin, NH; two nieces, Suzanne M. Lajoie of Gardner and Carolyn Cournoyer of South Grafton; two nephews, Jeffrey Bassett of Gardner and Bruce Molleur of East Machias, ME; two great-nieces, Tammy Lajoie of Gardner and Ashley Bassett of Port St. Lucie, FL; and one great-great niece, Marisa Lupaczyk of Gardner; and two cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Victor Bassett and Clarence Bassett; and by one nephew, Michael Bassett.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, November 3rd at 1:30 p.m. in Central Cemetery, Millbury, MA.

There are no calling hours.
