Beatrice M Hudson

Beatrice M. (LeBlanc) Hudson, 90, of 51 Hospital Road, Baldwinville, formerly of 157A Blanchard Street, Gardner, died peacefully in the arms of her daughter, Saturday, May 3, 2014 in the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville .
Born in Gardner on February 26, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Melas and Josephine (Breau) LeBlanc.
Beatrice was employed by Parke-Snow Company of Gardner as an office clerk for several years, retiring in 1964.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
Beatrice's favorite pastime was reading; she was known to read a book a day. She was a Girl Scout and Brownie Leader for 10 years, during which time she worked at Dunn's State Park Girl Scout Day Camp where she was lovingly known as "Honey Bea Hudson". Beatrice loved spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Raymond S. Hudson, who died December 22, 1979.
Beatrice leaves one daughter, Nancy A. Hawkins of Gardner; one grandson, Robert P. Hawkins of Gardner; one son-in-law, Paul R. Hawkins of Gardner; her Godson, Phillip Cormier; and two special nieces, Janice Turski and Gloria Tousignant. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 9th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be Thursday, May 8th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
