Beatrice N."Bea" Bennett

Beatrice N. "Bea" (Myrick) Bennett, 91, of Templeton, died peacefully Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in Heywood Hospital of Gardner, following a brief illness.
Born in Winter Harbor, Maine on October 14, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Ruth (Byers) Myrick. Beatrice graduated from Winter Harbor High School with the Class of 1942.
Prior to retiring in 1975, Beatrice was employed for several years by High Volt Engineering of Burlington, MA as a technician on solar cells. Following her retirement, she spent the rest of her years as a homemaker.
Beatrice enjoyed knitting, fishing and loved the Boston Red Sox.
She was predeceased by her husband, David S. Bennett, Sr., who died in 2010.
Beatrice leaves one son, David S. Bennett, Jr. and his wife Gloria of Templeton; six grandchildren, Brian Carroll, Kimberly Flanagan, Jodi Mackie, Eric Saunders, Devinne Bennett and David R. Bennett; five great-grandchildren, Tyler Mackie, Pace Carroll, Reagan Carroll, Ben Carroll and Eli Flanagan; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Ruth A. Carroll; brother, Oscar Myrick; half-brother, Ralph Byers.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
