Barbara M Williams

Barbara M. (Sargent) Williams, 93, of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home of Gardner, with her family by her side.
Barbara was born in Gardner on November 10, 1924, the daughter of the late Clarence and Annie (MacMahon) Sargent.
She was employed by Simplex Time Recorder as an assembler for many years, retiring in 1986.
Barbara was a member of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Gardner.
She enjoyed Polka music, concerts at Monument Park, dancing and taking long car rides. Barbara treasured and dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph "Herve" Williams, who died in 1999.
Barbara leaves one son, Richard J. Williams and his wife Joann of Gardner; three daughters, Carol Goguen of Athol, Donna Fletcher and her husband Louis of Gardner, and Kathleen A. Fortier and her husband Robert of Gardner; six grandchildren, Sonya Salame-Grimm, Mike Salame, Jon Fletcher, Melissa Williams, Gregory Williams and Adrienne Watson; nine great-grandchildren, Rhiannon Fletcher, Arieana Watson, Ty Salame, Mya Watson, Emma Watson, Kai Lago Williams, Sofia Williams, Cali Williams and Aaron Aker; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers, Robert, David, Ronald and Donald Sargent; and by one sister, Lillian Dill.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 20th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery Gardner at a later date.
A calling hour will be held Tuesday, March 20th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
