Barbara E Surette

Barbara E. (Dulong) Surette, 83, of Coleman St. Gardner, where she had lived for 48 years and formerly of Wakefield, died Friday, June 5th in her residence following a short battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.
Born in Wakefield on March 20, 1926, she was the daughter of Arthur J. and M. Amelia (Muise) Dulong.
She was a furniture sprayer employed by F. A. Nichols Co. of Gardner for 13 years, retiring in 1955.
Barbara was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She was a long time caretaker of her husband. She loved cooking and staying at home.
She leaves her husband, Vincent J. "Casey" Dave" Surette, of Gardner with whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage May 24th; a daughter, Kathy A. Boucher and her husband Albert of Gardner; 1 granddaughter, Amy L. Boucher of Gardner; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 9th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Tuesday, June 9th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
