Barbara M. Maillet, 95, of 283 Water St., Leominster, died Friday, March 11th in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, following an illness.
Born in Bouctouche, NB, Canada on April 19, 1909, she was the daughter of Joseph and Lydia (Bernard) Maillet.
She was a domestic worker for various households.
She was a member of St. Cecilia's Church, Leominster, and Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
She leaves 1 brother, Gerard J. Maillet of Baldwinville; 5 sisters, Rose Maillet of Leominster, Bertha Martin and Odette Niemela both of Gardner, Evangeline Sayers of Glastonberry, CT and Lorraine Blomen of Rockledge, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 15th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner, at a later date.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Tuesday, March 15th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary School Fund, 135 Nichols St., Gardner, MA 01440.
