Auguste “Gus” J. Boudreau, 76, of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, January 17, 2022, in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with his family by his side.
Born in Acadieville Siding, New Brunswick, Canada on October 8, 1945, he was the son of the late Emile J. and Bertha M. (Leger) Boudreau. Gus was a Plow Driver employed for the City of Gardner Department of Public Works for many years until his retirement.
Gus was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He was a member of the Acadien Social Club, Knights of Columbus both of Gardner, and the Templeton Fish and Game Club of Templeton. Gus was a family man and loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Gus is survived by his six brothers, Thomas Boudreau and his wife Norma, Fidele Boudreau and his wife Diane, Claude Boudreau and his wife Francine, Emile Boudreau Jr. and his wife Jeannette, Gerry Boudreau and his significant other Cheryl, Elie Boudreau and his wife Paulette, all of Gardner; four sisters, Florine Comeau of Gardner, Doris Arsenault and her husband Norman of Westminster, Lucille Vautour and her husband Roger of Gardner, Yvette Cormier and her significant other Ernie of New Hampshire; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
He predeceased by four sisters, Ida Boudreau, Jeannette Comeau, Nora Belliveau, and Rosa Cormier.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
