Arnold W. Montville, 82, of 316 Central St., Gardner died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 24th in his residence.
Born in Gardner on October 7, 1921, he was the son of William and Bulah (Merritt) Montville.
He was a janitor employed by the former Simplex Time Recorder Co. of Gardner for 15 years, retiring in 1986.
He was a loyal Red Sox fan.
He leaves 2 brothers, Kenneth Montville of Fitchburg and Robert Montville of Littleton. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner.
Burial of cremains will be in Crystal Lake Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Friday, January 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to House of Peace & Education, 20 Barthel Ave., Gardner, MA 01440.
