April R. (Robichaud) Grenke, 54, of Gardner, died suddenly at home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
April was born in Gardner on August 24, 1963, the daughter of the late Normand and May (Barrieau) Robichaud.
She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1981, and later attended Mount Wachusett Community College of Gardner.
April was employed by the City of Gardner as a Paraprofessional for 10 years, retiring in 2016. She also tended bar at the Acadien Social Club of Gardner, and was a member of the American Legion Post 129 of Gardner.
April enjoyed gardening, watching old Western movies on television and playing bocce at the family camp in New Hampshire. She was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. April loved spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed playing with her grandchildren.
She leaves her husband of 32 years, Richard L. Grenke, of Gardner; three daughters, Renee J. Erdmann and her husband United States Air Force TSgt Bradford of Bangor, Maine, Beth G. Schneider of Gardner, and Samantha L. Stein and her significant other Josh Cyganiewicz of Winchendon; three brothers, Mitch Robichaud of San Jose, CA, John Robichaud and his wife Barbara of Gardner, and Paul Robichaud and his wife Jan of Spring Valley, CA; three sisters, Phyllis Neale and her husband Doug of Gardner, JoAnn Stacey and her husband Jim of Gardner, and Sue Boudreau and her husband Steve of Lisbon, NH; three grandchildren, Mia and Beau Schneider and Weston Cyganiewicz; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A 'Celebration of Life' will be held Saturday, February 10th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Polish American Citizens Club, 171 Kendall Pond Road W, Gardner.
There are no calling hours.
