Antonia O"Tona" Rodriguez

Antonia Olivares "Tona" Rodriguez, 70, of Winchendon, died suddenly Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in Heywood Hospital of Gardner.
She was born in Puerto Rico on April 14, 1945, the daughter of Antonio and Rosa (Ramos) Rodriguez.
Antonia was a homemaker who loved being a grandmother. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching soap operas on the Spanish channel and she loved her cat "Kitty".
Antonia leaves three sons, Vangelo A. Mendez of Winchendon and his wife Lisa Ann Mendez of Peterboro, NH, Joe Mendez of Winchendon and Dave Castro and his wife Evelyn of Pittsfield; one daughter, Frances T. Cintron of Dorchester; one brother, Jose Angel Rodriguez of Puerto Rico; two sisters, Nilda Rodriguez and her husband Jose of Bronx, NY and Palmira Rodriguez of Buffalo, NY; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Tom Mendez and by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 18th at 1:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be held in Cementerio Civil of Ponce, Puerto Rico, at a later date.
A calling hour will be held Sunday, October 18th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440 to assist with her funeral expenses.
