Antoinette "Toni" M. Dahir

Antoinette M. “Toni” Dahir, 89, of Gardner, died peacefully, Thursday, May 21, 2020, in Wachusett Manor, Gardner, after a long illness.

Born in Gardner on May 23, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jamilia Dahir. She was a graduate of Gardner High School with the Class of 1947. Toni worked as a bookkeeper employed by Wheelen Supply Company, Inc., for several years.

She was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. She was a member of the Gardner Chapter of AARP. Toni was an active member in the Gardner community. She loved being involved in community affairs and giving talks about the abolitionist and suffragist, Lucy Stone.

Toni is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her brother, Roland Dahir.

The family would like to thank Lisa, Kristen, Amanda, all the nurses, and aids from Wachusett Manor, as well as Cindy, Kristina, Kathy, and Liz from Compass Hospice for all the love and care they provided Toni over the past couple years.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
