Antoinette M. Hebert, 85, of 1199 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg and formerly of 116 Church St., Gardner, died Monday, March 6th in Birchwood Care Center, Fitchburg, following a short illness.

Born in St. Anne, NB, Canada on August 18, 1920, she was the daughter of Martial and Henriette (Bastarache) Hebert.

She was a housekeeper employed by Dr. Robert Rousso of Bridgeport, CT for 27 years, retiring in 1981.

Antoinette was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She was a member of Gardner Golden Agers and V.F.W. Women's Auxillary Post 27 of Bridgeport, CT.

She leaves 1 brother, Oscar Hebert and 1 sister, Florine Rich both of Cocagne, NB, Canada; a godson, Peter J. Goguen of Gardner; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 5 brothers, Arthur, Emile, Emery, Aurele and Eddie Hebert.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 11th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in St. Pierre Cemetery, Cocagne, NB, Canada.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Saturday, March 11th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner, MA 01440.
