Annette L. (Lajoie) Woodward, 65, of 83 Murray Road, Ashburnham, died peacefully surrounded by her family, Tuesday, January 26th in Legends Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, Gardner, following a brief illness.
Born in Gardner on December 8, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Arthur E. and Lillian (Leblanc) Lajoie.
Annette was employed by New England All Bank as a banker and bookkeeper for 15 years, retiring in 1991.
She graduated from Gardner High School, Gardner with the Class of 1962.
Annette was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
Her hobbies included motorcycle riding, quilting, crocheting, playing scrabble and watching her favorite television shows Survivor and Jeopardy. She enjoyed traveling to York Beach, Maine, where she and her husband spent a lot of time.
Annette leaves her husband of 40 years, John T. Woodward of Ashburnham; one son, Darren E. Woodward of Fort Walton Beach, FL; two daughters, Colleen M. Ketchuck of San Antonio, TX and Melissa M. Sund of Gardner; two sisters, Georgette Hodgen of Gardner and Maureen Lajoie of Templeton; four grandchildren, Michael Ketchuck, Derrick Woodward, Zachary Sund and Nicholas Sund; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 3rd at 2:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Wednesday, February 3rd from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
