Anne M. McMilleon

Anne M. (Mercier) McMilleon, 77, of Gardner, died peacefully Tuesday, October 26, 2021, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after an illness.

Born in Worcester on November 11, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Rita A. (Manseau) (Mercier) Stowell. Anne was a housekeeper employed by Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church Rectory for 21-years. She was previously employed by Wachusett Manor as a Nurse’s Aide.

Anne was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. She enjoyed going out for hikes and walks, reaching, and crocheting. Anne was an excellent cook and was especially known for her chowder. But the time that she greatly cherished was spent with her family.

Anne is survived by her two daughters, Roberta L. Wilson and her husband Lawrence of Gardner, and Carol A. LaBrie of Gardner; a son, Mark A. Racine and his wife Karen of Gardner; a sister, Lorraine M. Marion of Gardner; three brothers, Alfred Mercier and his wife Rachel of Louisianna, George “Joe” Mercier and his wife Linda of Florida, and Leon Mercier and his wife Ella of Swanzey, NH; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her life-partner, Manuel Tabales of Gardner; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Russell G. McMilleon, who died in 2008; and two brothers, Phillip, and Robert Mercier.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, with a Mass at 3:00 p.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.

Calling Hours will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
