Anna M. Royer

Anna M. (Knowles) Royer, 88, of Baldwinville, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, October 12, 2024, in Alliance Health at Baldwinville, after a period of declining health.

Born in Fitchburg on October 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Wright T. and Susan (Arsenault) Knowles.

Anna was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish, practicing at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She loved to play BINGO, and work around the home. Anna’s greatest joy was her family, treasuring the time she spent with them.

Anna is survived by her siblings, Robert Knowles of Oregon, and Helen Carkin of Colorado; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Ernest A. Royer, who died in 2013, and her sisters, Emma Drinkwine, Mildred Simard, and Hilda Pastore.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.

Calling Hours will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
