Anna M. (Gaudet) Henrie, 76, of Gardner died peacefully Monday, July 4, 2016, surrounded by her family, following a long illness.
She was born in St. Paul, N.B. Canada on July 21, 1939, the daughter of the late Camile P. and Eugenie (Goguen) Gaudet.
Anna graduated from St. Paul's Consolidated High School of N.B. Canada.
She was employed by the former Gardner Skilled Nursing Home of Gardner for many years, retiring in 2002. She was previously employed by TRW of Westminster for several years.
Anna was a member of St. Martin's Church of Baldwinville, where she was actively involved with the church for many years.
She enjoyed exercising, walking and line dancing. She enjoyed watching her favorite soap opera "The Young and the Restless" on television. Anna loved spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Albert J. Henrie, who died in 2012.
Anna leaves two sons, Bermon Henrie of Gardner and Jean-Claude and his wife Robin of Ashburnham; one daughter, Lisa Blais and her husband Tom of Lyndeborough, NH; five sisters, Florence Gautreau and her husband Donald of Shediac Bridge, N.B. Canada, Cecile Devarcines of Bouctouche, N.B. Canada, Lorette McDonald of St. Paul, N.B. Canada, Emelie Petitpas of Bouctouche, N.B. Canada and Rita Kervin of Muncton, N.B. Canada; six grandchildren, Samantha Blais, Lorrie Blais, Emma Blais, Jace Henrie, Cameron Henrie and Kourtney Kacian; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves her special friend and guardian angel. Anna was predeceased by her daughter, Rachel M. Kacian who died in 2006; five brothers, Edmond, Normand, Edouard, Herve and Alfred Gaudet; and three sisters, Lina Poirier, Marie Girouard and Alexina Pyle.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 16th at 11:30 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
A calling hour will be held Saturday, July 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Martin's Church, 248 State Road, Baldwinville, MA 01436.
