Ann E. Nix

Ann E. (Martioski) Nix, 83, of Rindge, NH, died peacefully, Saturday, January 23, 2021, in Genesis Healthcare at the Keene Center, Keene, NH, after an illness.

Born in Gardner on August 27, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Colon) Martioski. Ann was a salesclerk employed by Wal-Mart of Rindge, NH, for 5-years until her retirement in 1999. She was previously employed by Beechnut Baby Foods of Canajoharie, NY as a general factory worker for 17-years.

Ann enjoyed gardening, doing arts and crafts, and cooking. She loved to watch sports, especially football, baseball, and golf. But the time that Ann loved and cherished the most was spent with her family.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Alice M. Newton of Sarasota, FL; several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband of 22-years, Thomas W. Nix, who died in 2004; her son, David H. Arsenault, who died in 2015, a stillborn daughter, Michelle Arsenault; and several siblings.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021, at St. John’s Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.
