Anita J. Lineen

Anita J. (L’Ecuyer) Lineen, 77, of Winchendon, died peacefully Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in her residence with her family by her side.

Born in Winchendon on June 27, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Alcide J. and Priscilla (Gauthier) L’Ecuyer. She graduated from Leominster High School with the Class of 1962. Anita was a Clerk employed by Old Glory Antiques for several years, where she loved working alongside Robin, even going in on her days off. She was previously employed as a Bartender at Ray’s Peter Pan and as a 411 Operator for Verizon for several years.

Anita was a member of the Pioneers 411 Operators. She enjoyed going shopping and working on puzzles. Anita loved going on vacations especially visiting Ogunquit and Wells, Maine, and Walt Disney World. Above all else, Anita’s greatest joy was her family, with whom she loved and treasured all the time spent with them, especially her grandchildren.

Anita is survived by her daughter, Pamela Hamel, and her husband Paul of Winchendon; two grandchildren, Dallas and Michael Hamel; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, James Lineen; a grandson, Travis Hamel; two brothers; Alcide and Peter L’Ecuyler; and three sisters; Priscilla Graves, Lorraine LeBlanc, and Rita L’Ecuyer.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 13, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Bridge Street, Baldwinville, MA.

A Calling Hour will be held Monday, December 13, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
