Anita C. (Biron) Kulvete, 78, of 485 Pearl St., Gardner died Wednesday in her residence following an illness.
Born in Gardner on January 15, 1925, she was the daughter of Alfred J. and Laura A. (St.Pierre) Biron.
She was a waitress employed by the Old Mill Restaurant, Westminster, for many years until retiring in 1980.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She enjoyed photography, traveling and doing crewel embroidery.
She leaves her husband of 57 years, Anthony Kulvete of Gardner; 3 sons, Steven Kulvete of Templeton, Alan Kulvete of Gardner and Peter Kulvete of Colorado Springs, CO; 2 daughters, Brenda Kulvete of Gardner and Ann Kulvete of Athol; 3 sisters, Jeanette Raisanen of Winchendon, Geraldine Goguen of Holiday, FL and Irene Gettens of Baldwinville; 6 grandchildren, Brian, Monica, Michelle, Eric, Ryan and Mary Kulvete; 2 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Breanna Kulvete; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Beverly Kulvete who died in 1954. She was also predeceased by 2 brothers, Henry Biron, Edmond Biron and 2 sisters, Lorraine Biron and Alfreda Biron.
Funeral services will be held Friday from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
