Anita M. (LeBlanc) Goguen, 85, of 40 Waterford St., Gardner died unexpectedly Thursday in Connecticut.
Born in Gardner on November 22, 1918, she was the daughter of Maxime and Elizabeth (Roy) LeBlanc.
She was an office clerk employed by various local companies.
She was a 1936 graduate of Gardner High School and was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
She was an avid golfer and shot a 'hole-in-one' three times in Gardner and 1 time in Westminster. She enjoyed playing cards and doing needlepoint.
Her husband of 47 years, Raymond L. Goguen, died in 1987.
She leaves 2 sons, Raymond L. Goguen Jr. husband of Barbara Goguen of Leominster and Roger P. Goguen, husband of Suzette Goguen of Gardner; 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Phillip LeBlanc and Zoel LeBlanc and 5 sisters, Ida Robichaud, Rita LeBlanc, Helena Albert, Delia Coulombe and Anna Goguen.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 12:00 noon in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner.
Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
