Andrew J"Andy" St. Laurent

Andrew J. 'Andy' St. Laurent, 83, of Gardner, died peacefully Monday February 20, 2017 in his residence, following a long illness.
Born in Gardner on June 15, 1933, he was the son of the late Romeo and Lucy (Therrien) St. Laurent.
Andrew graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1951.
He was a United States Korean War Army Veteran and received the National Defense Service Medal. Andrew was a member of the Presidential Honor Guard and his duties included ceremonies in Washington D.C. and Arlington Cemetery.
He was employed by Digital Manufacturing Company of Westminster as a shipper/receiver for 15 years, retiring in 1992. He was previously employed by George B. Bent Company, Inc. of Gardner as a traffic manager for 28 years.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 129 of Gardner. He was also a member of the Gardner Chapter of A.A.R.P.
Andrew enjoyed playing horseshoes and cribbage. He loved spending time with his family.
Andrew leaves his wife of 60 years, Joyce M. (Moschetti) St. Laurent of Gardner; one son, Stephen A. St. Laurent of Lunenburg; three daughters, Carlene M. Breen of Gardner, Brenda J. Dill and her husband Wayne of Gardner, and Cindy A. Philbrick and her husband Bruce of Sterling; one brother, Roger St. Laurent and his wife Linda of Otter River; one sister, Claire Sirois and her husband Roland of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Roland St. Laurent.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 27th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 26th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
