Amalia R. "Molly" Jandris, 84, of 239 High Street, Gardner died Sunday, April 1, 2012 in Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol, following a period of declining health.
She was born in Gardner on July 4, 1927, the daughter of the late Adolf and Rosa (Artinger) Jandris.
Amalia graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1944. She was employed with the family business of A. Jandris and Sons, Inc. of Gardner as the bookkeeper for several years, retiring in 1995.
She was a member of Holy Spirit Church in Gardner.
Amalia leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her three brothers, Joseph Adolf Jandris, Edward P. Jandris and Albert C. Jandris.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 10th at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour will be Tuesday, April 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, Masonry Program, 1050 Westminster Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
