Allan E. Spaulding, 67, of 341 Pine St., Gardner died unexpectedly Thursday, November 27th, in his residence.
Born in Lynn on March 9, 1936, he was the son of Elwood and Elizabeth (Belford) Spaulding.
At the time of his death he was a factory worker employed by H & R Mfg. Co. of Gardner where he has worked for several years.
He was a 1954 graduate of Lynn High School. He enjoyed fishing, baseball and football.
Mr. Spaulding was a Korean War U.S. Army Veteran.
He leaves his wife of 38 years, Muriel R. (Pellerin) Spaulding of Gardner; 4 sons, Allan E. Spaulding, Jr., Mark K. Spaulding and Steven R. Spaulding all of Gardner, Philip Spaulding of Everett, 1 stepson, Raymond R. Gerry of Westboro; 2 brothers, Ernest Spaulding of Barrington, NH, Leonard Spaulding of Florida; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Tammy M. Gerry who died in 1994,1 brother, James Spaulding and 1 sister, June Spaulding.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner.
Burial in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner, will be at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
