Aline C. (Paradis) Langille, 95, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, July 7, 2023, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, surrounded by her family.
Born in Greenville, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Leon J. and Yvonne (Fagnant) Paradis. Aline was an Assembler employed by Simplex Time Recorder of Gardner for 12-years prior to her retirement. She was previously employed by Honeywell of Peterborough, NH.
Aline was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner where she practiced at its Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, and while she was in Greenville, NH, practiced at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, where she was a member of its Ladies of Ste. Anne Society. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the LeClair-Caron-Pelletier American Legion Post 13 of Greenville, NH and many years ago went to the West End Beagle Club of Gardner. Aline was excelled at crocheting making many Afghan blankets, as well as known for making her famous peanut butter fudge. She also regularly watched Mass on television and loved to square dance. Aline’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren, treasuring all the special moments they had together.
Aline is survived by her two daughters, Joanne E. Fraser and her husband John of Candia, NH, and Janice M. Arsenault and her husband Omer of Gardner; two sons, Charles P. Langille and his wife Linda of New Ipswich, NH, and Paul F. Langille and his wife Teresa of Virginia Beach, VA; twelve grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Pauline Arnhold of Kirkland, WA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her four sisters, Irene Drouin, Geralda Sears, Laurette Boisse, and Bernadette Fortin; one brother Charles “Hector” Paradis; and one great-grandchild, Tyler Kandoll.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 17, 2023, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Greenville Road, New Ipswich, NH.
Calling Hours will be held Monday, July 17, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
