Aline M. Cormier

Aline M. (Cormier) Cormier, 85, of Gardner, died peacefully, Monday, January 6, 2020, at Alliance Health at Baldwinville, after an illness.

Born in Cocagne, New Brunswick, Canada, on February 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Emma (Maillet) Cormier. She was a machinist last employed by Simplex Time Recorder of Gardner for several years before her retirement in 1983. She was previously employed by Foster/Grant of Leominster for several years.

Aline was a member of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. She loved sewing and knitting. Aline enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut and playing 200 every Tuesday night at the Acadien Social Club.  But the time she loved and cherished the most was time spent with her family.

She was survived by three daughters, Yvette M. Albert and her husband Joseph of Gardner, Linda A. Boucher and her husband Ronald of Rindge, NH, and Nicole M. Cormier and her husband Roger of Gardner; four sisters Geneva LeBlanc and her husband Victor of St. Marie, New Brunswick, Donalda LeBlanc of St. Marie, New Brunswick, Lorraine Dupuis of Richibucto, New Brunswick, and Dorinne Daigle and her husband Reginald of Cocagne, New Brunswick; two brothers Alcide Cormier of Notre Dame, New Brunswick, and Leo-Paul Cormier and his wife Jeanne of St. Antoine, New Brunswick; five grandchildren Joseph Albert Jr., Rachel Darling, Crystal Howe, Roger Cormier Jr., and Keith Cormier; several great-grandchildren; a special friend Gerald Cormier of Gardner; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband of 62-years Ulysse R. Cormier, who died in 2015; two sisters Irene Bastarache and Ida Cormier; five brothers Aurel, Neri, Eric, Gerald, and Eric Cormier.

Calling Hours will be held Friday, January 10, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 10, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. A private burial will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
