Alice M. Bouchard

Alice M. (Hache) Bouchard, 63, of 162 Oak Street, Gardner died peacefully Sunday, March 18, 2012 in her residence surrounded by family following a long illness.
Born in Grand-Dique, N.B. Canada on October 5, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Herve and Doris ( LeBlanc) Hache.
Alice received an Associates Degree in Computer Science from Mount Wachusett Community College, Gardner and later received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Emmanuel College, Boston in 2003.
She was employed by the Baldwinville Nursing Home as a bookkeeper, prior to retiring in 2011. Alice was previously employed by Simplex Time Recorder and Tyco.
She was a member of Our Lady of Holy Rosary Church, Gardner. She was also a member of the Beagle Club of Gardner and the Deep Sea Club of Gardner.
Alice enjoyed playing pool, horseshoes, darts and cribbage. She took pleasure in cooking and traveling, especially to the Hawaiian Islands. Alice most enjoyed spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband of 45 years, Norman J. Bouchard, of Gardner; three sons, Brian J. Bouchard and his wife Kerri of Glen Burnie, MD, Roger J. Bouchard of Conroe, TX and Gary J. Bouchard and his wife Amanda of Fort Meade, MD; one sister, Stella O'Neil of Salem, MA; six grandchildren, Danielle Bouchard, Tyler LeBlanc, Brianna Bouchard, Ethan Bouchard, Ryan Bouchard and Daniel Bouchard; one aunt, Bernice LeBlanc of Scoudouc, N.B. Canada; one uncle, Eric LeBlanc of Grand Digue, N.B. Canada; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Paul N. Bouchard, who died December 4, 2002.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 22nd from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner, at a later date.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 21st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Relay for Life, c/o West End Beagle Club, Clark Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
