Alexzenia McMilleon

Alexzenia "Honey" (MacMillan) McMilleon, 71, of 53 South Main St., Gardner died Wednesday, December 22nd in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, Gardner, following an illness.
Born in Fitchburg on July 19, 1933, she was the daughter of Alexander and Margaret (McBride) MacMillan.
She was a housekeeper employed by Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, Gardner for several years.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was a member of Templeton Fish & Game Club, Women's Auxillary of the V.F.W. Douglas Hicks Post 89 of Westminster and served as its President. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed camping, attending yard sales and long drives to the beach.
She leaves her husband of 54 years, Larry R. McMilleon of Gardner; 3 sons, David S. McMilleon of Colorado Springs, CO, Daniel P. McMilleon and Brian K. Burpee both of Gardner; 5 daughters, Sheryl A. Chaisson of East Templeton, Susan P. Richard of Rindge, NH, Deborah J. Nivala and Laurene M. Minns both of Gardner and Elizabeth A. Kendall of Fitchburg; 1 brother, John M. MacMillan of Fitchburg; 2 sisters Ellen Marcello of Spring Hill, FL and Kathleen MacMillan of Leominster; a sister-in-law, Carol Gaudet of Lunenburg; 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 aunt Anna MacMillan several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 1 brother Thomas MacMillan who died in 1968 and 1 sister Mary Burpee who died in 1978.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29th @ 12:00 noon in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in the MA Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Winchendon.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday, December 29th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
