Alan Pratt, 63, of Gardner, died peacefully Tuesday, June 29, 2021, in Tufts Medical Center, Boston, after a brief illness.
Born in Gardner on August 15, 1957, he was the son of the late Joseph and Gloria (Gerrard) Pratt. He was a truck driver for over 20 years for Pratt Trucking of Gardner.
Alan was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/Holy Spirit Chapel. He was a member of the Beagle Club of Gardner. Alan loved to drive trucks, fishing and eating Filipino foods. But the time spent with his family and his two dogs Annabelle and Patches, was what he cherished the most.
He leaves his wife of 12-years, Avelina (Selilibo) Pratt of Gardner; a step-son, Jasper Vincent Garcia of the Philippines; three brothers, Robert Pratt and his wife Doris of Gardner, David Pratt and his wife Christine of Hollis, NH, and Kenneth Pratt and his wife Arlene of Winchendon; one sister Marie Henry and her husband Kip of Winchendon; one step-grandson, John Daniel Garcia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by four brothers, Gordon, James, Glen, and Mark Pratt; and two sisters, Catherine Richard and Sandra Prouty.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 5, 2021, from Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.
Calling Hours will be held Monday, July 5, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Please reference in memory of Alan Pratt.
