Alan was a United States Air Force Veteran serving from 1959 to 1963, where he received the Good Conduct Medal. His service to his country was something he was most proud of, as it was how he met the love of his life while stationed in Germany. He was also a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Church Adoration Chapel of Baldwinville. Alan loved to bowl and participated in many leagues throughout the years. He also enjoyed traveling to the islands, watching sports, and working in his gardens. Alan's pride and joy were his family, and he treasured all the special times together.
