Aime J Gosselin

Aime J. Gosselin, 96, of Gardner, formerly of Ellenton, Florida, died peacefully, Friday, August 25, 2017 in his residence surrounded by family following a long illness.
Born in St. Paul N.B. Canada on June 11, 1921, he was the son of the late Henrie and Melina (LeBlanc) Gosselin.
Aime was an auto mechanic who owned and operated Gosselin Automotive Repair of Gardner for 29 years, retiring in 1983.
He was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He was also a member of the Templeton Fish and Game Club.
Aime loved working on cars, playing cards, and shuffleboard. He enjoyed playing the harmonica and listening to Country music. He was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Bruins.
He leaves his wife of 71 years, Florence M. (Richard) Gosselin, of Gardner; two sons, Valmont L. Gosselin and his wife Christine of Gardner, and Raymond G. Gosselin of Otter River; five daughters, Norma M. Boudreau and her husband Tommy of Gardner, Yvette A. Reed and her husband William of Otter River, Gisele P. Boone and her husband James of Gardner, Denise H. Gosselin and her fiancé Van Laskarides of Ashburnham, and Jacqueline M. Gosselin of Jacksonville, Florida; one brother, Gerald Gosselin and his wife Dora of Canada; fourteen grandchildren, David Boudreau, Kimberly Vautour, Erika Boudreau, Craig Gosselin, Julie Rhuland, Jennifer Gray, Eric Gray, Shelley Lavallee, Christopher Morris, Josh Boone, Jacob Boone, Zoe Laskarides, Kasandra Laskarides and Karrissa Laskarides; fifteen great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Aime was predeceased by one daughter, Carmella M. Gosselin; three brothers, Albenie, Laurie, and Aurele Gosselin; five sisters, Elmire Gosselin, Sister Carmella Gosselin of the Sisters of Notre Dame, Ida Gaudette, Alfreda Robichaud and Hermine Gosselin.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 29th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
Calling hours will be held Monday, August 28th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
